Goal
Redesign & develop the League 1 Ontario's website to showcase live games, scores, and various stats.
League 1 Ontario is a prominent semi-professional soccer league that operates as part of the Canadian Premier League (CPL), representing the next level of soccer competition in Canada. As a key player in the development of Canadian soccer, League 1 Ontario provides a platform for emerging talent to compete and showcase their skills. In addition to Ontario, the league extends to British Columbia (BC) and Alberta, creating a nationwide presence for aspiring players and teams within the CPL.
For League 1 Ontario, BC, and Alberta, we designed and developed a fully integrated digital platform that serves as the central hub for each league. The website includes real-time match updates, detailed player and team directories, dynamic game schedules, and live score tracking, all tailored to each region. This powerful functionality, combined with customized branding for each league, ensures that fans, players, and team managers can easily access key information and stay connected to the ongoing action across the leagues.

Key Website Features
The website features dynamic sections that pull in real-time match information, displaying upcoming games and live scores directly on the site. This smooth, interactive experience allows users to access live scores, match details, and game schedules without needing to refresh the page. Whether it’s checking for live scores or exploring upcoming matches, the site updates instantly, offering users real-time insights into the league’s events. This ensures that fans stay connected to every match as it unfolds, enhancing their experience with fresh, timely content.
Real-Time Upcoming Match Schedule
Users can quickly, at a glance, see what games are coming up and click into them to find out more details. This section will indicate to users which games are live and they can quickly tune in.
Live Score Experience
To bring fans closer to the action, we integrated a dynamic live score feature that tracks games in real time. When a match is live, a bold header alert immediately notifies users, allowing them to dive into key details with a single click. Users can not only follow the score live but also view team lineups and a minute-by-minute game summary—all updated seamlessly.
Full Responsive View
The feature is fully responsive, offering the same immersive experience on mobile devices, ensuring that fans can stay connected to the game no matter where they are. This real-time experience mirrors the functionality typically seen at higher-tier leagues, giving League1 fans and athletes a major league feel from their own devices.
Club Directory
The club directory page lets users toggle between seasons, browse upcoming games, and catch up on club news. The layout is clean and structured to make essential updates easy to find and follow. Users can scroll through the team’s upcoming and past matches in a clean, organized layout. By selecting a previous game, users can access detailed match info, including the score, timeline of events, and key stats, delivered in an easy-to-read structure. The view provides a clear snapshot of where the team ranks within the league, helping users quickly assess performance relative to other clubs.
Players Directory
The players directory displays a player’s basic profile, including their name, team, and a brief overview, offering fans a snapshot of the athlete’s identity and current team affiliation. Users can view a detailed log of the player’s game history, with key stats for each match, helping fans track performance over the course of the season. The player’s stat page summarizes a player’s career achievements, including goals, minutes played, and disciplinary records, providing a comprehensive view of their performance across multiple seasons.
Canada-Wide Websites
Not only did we design and develop a dynamic website for League 1 Ontario, but we have created websites for League 1 British Columbia and League 1 Alberta. We are on our way to creating the various provinces across Canada to establish League 1 nationwide.
League 1 BC
The League 1 BC website features the same functionality as the Ontario site but is branded to reflect the BC region. With a unique colour scheme and local content, the site caters to BC fans, showcasing fewer teams compared to Ontario, while maintaining the core features for a localized experience.
League 1 Alberta
League 1 Alberta’s website mirrors the functionality of the other sites but with distinct branding tailored to Alberta. The design incorporates regional colours and visuals, with fewer teams compared to Ontario, offering a streamlined experience that maintains the same core features for local fans.
